The Reading Wizards series is produced by Lucky Cat Productions, which also produced several seasons of Math Park and Gregory’s Grammar Group.
The production team of Robert Sharp and Roberto De Palma created these series with the goal of teaching math, language arts, reading skills in an entertaining format.

Robert Sharp combined his interests of teaching and video production into the formation of Lucky Cat Productions. He served as an elementary classroom teacher, intervention teacher, and instructional coach in the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD). In addition, Robert was a Classroom Instructional Television Adviser at the LAUSD public television station, KLCS-TV. In that setting, he also served as producer for the Emmy Award-winning Hollywood Homeroom series and the station’s annual Video in the Classroom Awards.
Roberto De Palma began his career as special effects artist in the film industry in Hollywood. Some of his film work includes Alien 3, Batman Returns, Gremlins 2, and Nightmare on Elm Street 4. He later became involved in computer graphics, working in the video game industry. Star Trek Armada, Battle Zone, Call of Duty, and Spiderman 3 are among some of his projects. Roberto is happy to have adapted his artistic skills and talents for co-producing entertaining instructional videos and television programs for children.
The team won two Los Angeles Area Emmy Awards each for their work on Math Park, which was named the Best Instructional Television Series for the years 2010 and 2011. You can visit the Math Park website for more information.
