The story is about Seymour, a young cat that wants to learn to read with the help of Maximilian the Reading Wizard. As with anyone learning to read, he is sometimes anxious about the task. However, the wizard is there to help him every step of the way.
The letter glowing effect.
In our videos we help students develop phonetic awareness: the connection between the letters and the sounds they represent, and how they form words. Whenever a word is introduced and the characters sound out the letters that make it, a glow appears around the letters as a visual representation of the process. As the sounds are combined, the entire word glows, thus merging all individual sounds that are now blended to create the final word.
